ENGINEERING GEOLOGY

Engineering geologists work for the built environment. Their knowledge of geology helps to plan construction works, choose the exact locations for projects or even alter the surface of a site if necessary.

While engineering geologists often work for consultancy companies, they can be called upon in all types of geology, including hydrogeology, mining or environmental geology.
