Our client is looking for a GeoEnvironmental Consultant to join a busy team in the Stockport office. This growing environmental consultancy has a wide and varied client portfolio comprising of commercial, retail and residential developer clients, as well as servicing the energy, landfill sectors. With an enviable reputation for high quality design, pragmatic advice and project delivery, this is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop and enhance their career, within a niche consultancy practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day project management of contaminated land, geotechnical, landfill and mining ground investigations and assist with the delivery of interpretative geotechnical/environmental reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
You must have relevant experience within contaminated land, which should include:
► Design and Supervision of Ground Investigations – including drilling and sampling
► Trial Pitting/Logging of soil and rock
► Scheduling of Chemical and Geotechnical Tests
► Project Budget Control
► Environmental Monitoring
► Report Writing
Ideally you will have a degree qualification in Geology, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology. The role will ideally suit an engineer with 1-3years previous experience who is looking to further develop their skills in an environment that will enable them to rapidly progress into a senior management position.
